Man Facing Glastonbury Charges In Check Fraud Case

A man has been charged in Glastonbury in a check fraud case, police said.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A man is facing three criminal charges after he cashed a bad check at a bank branch in Glastonbury, police said.

The fraudulent check was for $975 and was cashed in April 2017 at the Liberty Bank Branch, 64 Oak St., police said.

Tenton Lewis, 25, was charged with second-degree forgery, third-degree identity theft and fifth-degree larceny, according to records. He was connected to several similar incidents in Hartford County, police said.
