Man Implicated in Glastonbury Citgo Burglaries

GLASTONBURY, CT — A Windsor man has been charged with various crimes for burglarizing the same Glastonbury gas station twice in June, police said.
Daniel Mathers, 40, of Litchfield Drive, Windsor, was arrested on Monday, police said.
Mathers was charged with first- and second-degree burglary, third-degree larceny and second-degree criminal mischief, police said. All were accompanied by related conspiracy charges, police said.

He appeared in court Tuesday after being held on a $250,000 bond. A judge trimmed $100,000 off the top, but Maters remained in custody and is due before a judge again on Oct. 31, police and court records indicate.
Two other arrests have been made in the case, police said.
