Man Snagged With Counterfeit Bill at Glastonbury Store: Cops

The man is also charged with drug possession, police said.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A Glastonbury man has been charged with first-degree forgery after trying to pass a counterfeit bill at a local Cumberland Farms store, according to an arrest report.

The incident involving 37-year-old Eric Letourneau was on July 3, police said. According to an arrest report, Letourneau walked into Cumby's, brought various items to the counter and tried to pay for them with a phony bill, according to a report.

He was found at his truck after leaving the store, police said. He was also found with narcotics, according to a report, and was charged with two counts of narcotics possession and possessing drug paraphernalia in addition to the forgery charge, according to a report.
