Maryann Elizabeth Maraio, 65; Glastonbury Resident, Former Hospital Nurse

Maryann Elizabeth (Nericcio) Maraio, 65, of Glastonbury, was reborn into a new life in God’s Kingdom on May 3, 2015.

She leaves her best friend Frank-the love of her life, her daughter Rachel and wonderful son-in-law, Gary Jameson and their beautiful daughter, Ellie. She is also survived by her brother, Anthony Nericcio and his wife Marianne, her sister-in-law, Pat Maraio and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Maryann grew up in Wethersfield and was a dedicated and committed nurse working at Hartford Hospital for many years. She spent her later years helping to raise her granddaughter. They loved to play Memory, eat grapefruits and dance. She will be loved and missed greatly.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday May 7, 2015 at 11 a.m. in First Church, 250 Main St. Wethersfield. Burial is private. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd. Wethersfield.
