Meet Alexandrina Sergio -- Glastonbury's First Poet Laureate
A welcoming reception is planned for the town's first poet laureate.

This year marks the first year of Glastonbury’s honorary Poet Laureate position.
As the town’s representative poet, the Poet Laureate serves as an advocate for poetry and promotes the appreciation of and participation in poetry and literary arts activities among Glastonbury’s residents.

On June 23, Glastonbury’s Town Council approved the nomination of Alexandrina Sergio. Join in a welcoming reception for Sergio on Saturday, Sept. 19 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Welles-Turner Memorial Library’s Friends Room.
Refreshments will be available. No registration needed — just drop in.
