Mom Charged After 'Screaming' Child Found Alone in Car At Library
A mom has been charged in a case of a 4-year-old left alone in a vehicle at a library in Glastonbury, police said.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A mom has been charged in a case of a 4-year-old left alone in a vehicle at a library in Glastonbury, police said.
At 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 26, Glastonbury police went to the Wells-Turner Memorial Library at 2407 Main St. after receiving a call about a "screaming" child left unattended in a vehicle, according to a report.
According to a video surveillance, the child was alone in the car for six to seven minutes, police said.

The child's mother, identified as 53-year-old Marlise Randle Davis, who lives just down the road on Main Street, was charged with leaving a child younger than 12 unsupervised in a public place, according to a report.
She is due in court on Oct. 10, according to a report.
