Morgan Drive, Tall Timbers Fiber Utility Work Complete In Glastonbury
Frontier's contractor told the town the fiber lines are installed and final lawn and driveway restoration should happen soon.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Underground utility work in Glastonbury tied to Frontier Communications fiber-optic installation is complete in the Morgan Drive area and the Tall Timbers Road area, according to a town update posted Tuesday.
The work covered the Morgan Drive area, including Hardin Lane, Holmes Road, Stevens Lane, a small area along Main Street, and Morgan Drive, as well as the Tall Timbers area, including Bradley Way, a portion of Founders Road, Bunker Hill Road, Old Musket Road, Rampart Drive, Breeds Hill Road, and a portion of Hanover Fields Road.
According to the town, Frontier Communications' contractor, Parkside Utility, notified the town that the fiber-optic lines were successfully installed. The update states that final restoration of disturbed lawns and driveways should be completed soon.

The notice gives residents in the affected neighborhoods a few immediate steps to take as the project wraps up. Residents may remove any Call Before You Dig, or CBYD, flags and irrigation system flags, according to the town's update.
The town also directed residents to Parkside Utility if they believe sprinkler systems were damaged during the work. Residents are encouraged to contact Parkside's Concern Line at (800) 320-8862 if there was any damage to their sprinkler systems, according to the notice.

For residents who live along the affected roads, the announcement signals that the installation phase is over and that cleanup and property restoration are the remaining steps identified in the town notice. The update was posted May 13 at 8:15 a.m.
