New Police Dog Joins Glastonbury Department

A new police dog has joined the Glastonbury department, the first one in several years.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A new police dog has joined the Glastonbury department, the first one in several years.

The new dog was sworn in last week and she will be workking with handler Officer Neal Cavanagh, police said. The two will begin a training program shortly once they get more acquainted, police said.

The dog does not have a name or a vest yet, police said.
