Noise Complaint Leads to Glastonbury Man's Arrest
Police say the man fought with police and ignored an officer's orders.

A Glastonbury man is facing several charges including assault of a police officer in connection with a Sept. 15 incident involving a noise complaint.
Police responded to the area of 44 Rosewood Dr. for an ongoing noise complaint at 10:45 a.m. Sept. 15. The officer attempted to issue an infraction to the resident.
According to police, Michael E. Steady Jr., 23, of 44 Rosewood Dr., “ignored several lawful orders and fought with the officer.”

Steady was charged with Assault of a Police Officer, Interfering with an Officer, second-degree Breach of Peace and Creating a Public Disturbance.
Steady posted a $70,000 surety bond and is to appear in Manchester Court on Sept. 30.
