Bryant University, Smithfield RI

• Inspired to excel, 897 members of the Class of 2019, including four from Glastonbury, were awarded a Bryant University degree at the 156th Commencement ceremony on May 18, 2019. These accomplished graduates join a powerful network of more than 50,000 alumni around the world who have distinguished themselves as leaders in their organizations and communities.
  Alec Binette graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Finance. Leyna DiMarco graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Finance. Tyler Lorenzen graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Marketing. Rachel Rametta graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Finance.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• More than 1,250 Eastern Connecticut State University students received their diplomas in the 2018-19 academic year. Eastern's commencement ceremony occured May 21 at the XL Center in Hartford. Graduates from Glastonbury were Julia Bellfy, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration; Josephine Brickner, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology; Kevin Crosen, Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education; Rachel Peterson, Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology; Cory Brewer, Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education; William Paetzold, Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting; Alexia Pomerleau, Bachelor of Arts degree in English; Jeffrey Purdy, Bachelor of Arts degree in New Media Studies; Karl Roberts, Bachelor of Arts degree in English; Shayne Sampognaro, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology; and Ashley Sanzaro, Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work.

Loyola University Maryland, Baltimore MD

• Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its spring 2019 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits. Honorees from Glastonbury are Kelsey Hawkins and Liliana Petrov.

Western Connecticut State University, Danbury CT

• Three students from Glastonbury were named to the spring 2019 Dean's List at Western Connecticut State University. They are Macayla Cody, majoring in Art; Christopher Paszek, majoring in Accounting; and Julia Serdechny, majoring in Pre-Nursing.

Widener University, Chester PA

• Widener University congratulates Connor Johnson of Glastonbury for achieving Dean's List status during the spring 2019 semester while majoring in Management. The Dean's List recognizes full-time students who earned a grade point average of 3.50 and above for the semester.
