Numbers Tell The Story For Glastonbury's Class LL Cross Country Title
Glastonbury High School took the girls Class LL title at the CIAC cross country meet over the weekend.

MANCHESTER, CT — One look at the score sheet from Saturday's Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference Class LL Championship meet at Wickham Park tells an obvious story — the pack mentality certainly won out for the Glastonbury High School girls in taking the title.
Ridgefield runners finished second and third, but the final tally wasn't that close. Glastonbury runners finished fifth, sixth, seventh, 11th and 15th (and 21st and 28th for good measure) on the 5K course to amass just 44 points in a meet with 151 runners participating. Ridgefield, which also scored in places 18, 26 and 33, was second with a team total of 82.
Glastonbury's No. 6 and No. 7 runners displaced the final two scoring finishers for Ridgefield.
