Pair Busted with Fake Prescription in Glastonbury
Police say a fraudulent prescription was used in an attempt to get prescription drugs.

A fraudulent prescription was used in an attempt to obtain prescription drugs at the CVS on Main Street and Glastonbury Police have arrested two men in connection with the incident.
It was about 8:50 p.m. Aug. 15 when officers were called to the CVS at 2639 Main St. on a report that a fake prescription was being used to obtain controlled substances, according to a police report.
Police arrested Jason D. Petke, 46, of 17 Main St., Hartford, on a charge of obtaining a prescription by fraud. His bond was set at $5,000. He was assigned an Aug. 26 court date.

Police also arrested Janusz Surowka, 37, of 7 Gabriel Dr., Ellington, on charges of criminal impersonation and and conspiracy to illegally obtain a prescription. His bond was set at $10,000. He was given a Sept. 2 court date.
