GLASTONBURY, CT — A passenger in a car called 911 on a driver on Christmas Eve out of fear that she was drunk, just minutes after that driver was arrested in Glastonbury on domestic violence charges, police reports show.

Police released details of the case this week.

The passenger called 911 at 10:27 p.m. as the 57-year-old local woman was driving erratically on Hubbard Run Drive, according to an arrest report. Police intercepted the vehicle and arrested the woman for driving under the influence, according to an arrest report.

Records show that, just 32 minutes earlier, the woman was being booked for third-degree assault and disorderly conduct after a domestic violence incident.
