Paving Operations in Full Swing in Glastonbury

Some work requires detours, some does not, police said.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Road paving operations that began on Keeney Street on Monday should require detours until Wednesday, Glastonbury police said.

Local traffic on Keeney Street and Howe Road will be allowed, but all through traffic is being detoured via Bell Street and Bush Hill Road in Manchester, police said. Manchester Road may is also an option, but no signs are directing motorists that way, police said.

Paving should last through Wednesday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., police said.

Paving operations are also taking place this month on the following Town roads, without the need for road closures or detours:

  • Hurlburt Street
  • Stanley Drive
  • Greentree Drive
  • Lindsay Lane
  • Windwood Drive
