Paving Set To Begin On Main Street In Glastonbury

GLASTONBURY, CT — With milling work completed along the Glastonbury Main Street corridor, paving operations are scheduled to begin Wednesday.

Town officials said paving work will be performed during the overnight hours — 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. — on Wednesday and Thursday of this week as well as Sunday and then on Monday of next week.

Subsequent work will include pavement markings and signage followed by decorative brick work installation.

The overall Main Street reconstruction project is slated to conclude by month's end, town officials said.
