Plate Reader Snags Stolen Car In Home Depot Larceny Investigation In Glastonbury

GLASTONBURY, CT — Five people were arrested Sept. 10 after Glastonbury police located a "stolen/overdue" vehicle at Home Depot following an automated license plate reader alert, according to the department's arrest log.

Police said the vehicle was located in the Home Depot parking lot on Putnam Boulevard after an automated license plate reader generated an alert. Officers determined that several occupants were actively involved in a larceny at Home Depot, according to the arrest log.

Greyson Meikle, 32, of Andover, was charged with use of drug paraphernalia, fifth-degree larceny and first-offense larceny of a motor vehicle. He was also arrested on an active Hartford police failure-to-appear warrant. His bond was listed as $15,000 on the motor-vehicle larceny charge, with no bond listed for the other charges.

Christopher Mainard, 60, of Manchester, was charged with use of drug paraphernalia, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and first-offense larceny of a motor vehicle. His bond was set at $25,000.

Sarah Rosa, 39, of Middletown, was charged with use of drug paraphernalia and first-offense larceny of a motor vehicle. Police said she was a passenger in the stolen vehicle and that drug paraphernalia was found inside. Her bond was listed at $10,000.

Siobhan Risley, 35, of Willimantic, was charged with use of drug paraphernalia and first-offense larceny of a motor vehicle. Police said she was a passenger in the stolen vehicle and that drug paraphernalia was inside. Officers also found two active PRAWN warrants, according to the arrest log.

Risley was additionally charged with failure to respond to a payable violation and second-degree failure to appear. Her bonds were listed as $10,000 for the drug-paraphernalia charge, $1,000 for the payable-violation charge and $5,000 for the failure-to-appear charge.
