GLASTONBURY, CT — Glastonbury police hit paydirt with a license plate reader when a stolen car was corralled on Main Street over the weekend.

At 12:46 p.m. Sunday, a vehicle showed up as stolen when it passed a GPD license plate reader on Main Street, according to an arrest report. Officers then located the vehicle at 2875 Main St. and stopped the vehicle in a parking space.

The driver, a 31-year-old man from Norwich, was charged with larceny of a motor vehicle and driving without a license, according to an arrest report.
