Police: Glastonbury Woman Among Two Caught Shoplifting At Vernon KMart
They both have court dates later this month.

VERNON, CT - Two people were snagged shoplifting at the Vernon KMart over the past week, police reports indicate.
At 3:20 p.m. Saturday, Vernon police were called to the KMart for a shoplifting complaint. Jason Gorman, 35, of 112 East Center St., Manchester, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, according to an arrest report.
The report was not specific about what Gorman stole. He was given a court date of June 21, according to police records.

Police on Monday said that Jennifer Mercure, 46, of 534 Naubuc Ave., Glastonbury, is also due in court that day on a sixth-degree larceny charge.
On June 7, at 6:05 p.m., Vernon police received a call about a shoplifter.

Mercure is accused of entering a fitting room with "a lot of clothes," according to an arrest report.
Shen then tried to scoot past the registers without paying, according to an arrest report.
