Police Identify 82-Year-Old Killed in Glastonbury Driveway

GLASTONBURY, CT — Police have identified the woman killed in a Thursday accident in the driveway of a Glastonbury home.

Police said Margaret Gamer, 82, died after being hit by a vehicle backing up out of a garage.

The initial call came into Glastonbury police at about 11 a.m. Gamer lived where the accident took place, 595 Oakwood Drive, police said.

She was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries, police said. Police announced at 12:22 p.m. that she had died.
