Police: Man Sold Prescription Pills at Glastonbury Burger King

The East Harford man was in possession of 58 Oxycodone pills, police said.

An East Hartford man was arrested Tuesday after members of a regional narcotics task force say he attempted to sell prescription pills in town.

Larry Havey, 52, of 80 Main St., East Hartford, was arrested on charges of possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with intent to sell, as well as a warrant charging him with sale and possession of narcotics after police investigated reports that he was selling prescription pills in town.

Officers with the East Central Narcotics Task Force received information that Havey would be attempting to sell prescription pills in the parking lot of the Burger King Restaurant on Main St. in Glastonbury on Tuesday, police said.

Task force members set up surveillance in the parking lot of the Burger King and Havey was subsequently taken into custody. He was found to be in possession of 58 Oxycodone pills packaged for sale, police said.

Police said that Havey has a lengthy criminal history, and is currently on parole for burglary charges. He was held in lieu of $200,000 total bonds.
