Regional Firm Based In Glastonbury Hires New Tax Partner

GLASTONBURY, CT — Glastonbury-based MahoneySabol, a regional certified public accounting firm, announced Monday the appointment of Corey Veneziano as a partner in the firm's tax department.

With almost 20 years of comprehensive experience in providing accounting and tax services across various industries to closely held businesses along with their owners, Veneziano brings a wealth of expertise and a strong commitment to client care in his new role.

Veneziano specializes in tax consulting, planning, and compliance services, utilizing his extensive understanding of tax laws and regulations to assist clients in minimizing tax liabilities and overcoming specific challenges unique to their respective industries. Known for his exceptional interpersonal skills, Veneziano has fostered personal relationships with many clients, reflecting his genuine dedication to their success.

Before joining MahoneySabol, Veneziano spent 11 years at his previous firm, located in West Hartford, where he held the position of tax partner for the past 8 years.

Veneziano holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Central Connecticut State University and a master’s in taxation and accounting from the University of Hartford, further enhancing his expertise in the field. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Veneziano is active in the Estate and Business Planning Council of Hartford, showcasing his dedication to professional excellence and ongoing education. He resides in Cromwell.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Veneziano enjoys family time with his two children, time outside and in the sun, and anything with a motor.
