Report: Thief Injures Glastonbury Home Depot Worker During Theft Attempt

The suspect reportedly was held on $30,000 bond.

An employee at The Home Depot received minor injuries when he tried to stop a man from stealing a tool set during lunchtime Thursday, according to a report.

John Sparagna, 60, was detained by bystanders and then arrested on second-degree robbery and breach of peace charges, according to The Courant. He was held on $30,000 bail and was scheduled to be arraigned in Superior Court in Manchester Friday. No court information was available early Friday afternoon.
