Retail Loan Officer Joins Chelsea Groton Bank in Glastonbury

Luann Vinson has joined Chelsea Groton Bank as a Retail Loan Originator, based at the new Loan Production Office in Glastonbury.

Vinson will work with customers to understand their needs and goals, and help find the loan that best suits their financial situation. Certified by the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry), she will work with clients in need of a variety of lending solutions, from traditional mortgages, to first-time homebuyer and affordable lending programs, to specialty financing or home equity loans.

“Luann has over 10 years of mortgage origination experience and prior to her work in lending, she spent over a decade in real estate sales, so she has a sound understanding of each step of the process her clients are going through,” said Matthew Morrell, Vice President, Retail Lending Sales Manager at Chelsea Groton Bank. “Luann is dedicated to her clients and spends an extensive amount of time with each of them to ensure they understand all of their options and are comfortable with the financial decisions they are making. We are excited to welcome Luann to Chelsea Groton.”

Most recently, Vinson was a mortgage loan originator at Simsbury Bank and Trust Company, where she advised and originated mortgage solutions, with a focus on the first-time homebuyer community.

Luann graduated from the University of South Florida and is a member of the Connecticut Mortgage Bankers Association (CMBA). She resides in Portland.
