Slow-Moving Car In Glastonbury Leads To Drinking While Driving Charge
A man who was driving too slow in Glastonbury turned out to be not only drunk, but still drinking, according to a police report.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A 60-year-old driver aroused the suspicion of police by driving too slowly on Main Street in Glastonbury and he wound up with a drinking while driving charge as a result, according to an arrest report.
The incident took place at 1:54 p.m. on Dec. 29 near 3017 Main St., the address for a Burger King, according to an arrest report.
After stopping the slow-moving vehicle, police determined the Portand resident was not only drunk, but drinking while driving, according to an arrest report. He was charged with driving under the influence, drinking while driving and operating at too slow a speed, according to an arrest report.

The driver posted $50,000 bail and is due in court on Jan. 26, records show.
