The incident took place at 1:54 p.m. on Dec. 29 near 3017 Main St., the address for a Burger King, according to an arrest report. After stopping the slow-moving vehicle, police determined the Portand resident was not only drunk, but drinking while driving, according to an arrest report. He was charged with driving under the influence, drinking while driving and operating at too slow a speed, according to an arrest report. The driver posted $50,000 bail and is due in court on Jan. 26, records show.
