GLASTONBURY, CT — Police charged a Glastonbury resident with attempted murder after a woman was stabbed twice during a weekend fight, a report indicates.

The altercation broke out at 4:11 p.m. Saturday,at 181 Addison Road, police said. Luis (also known as "Luisa") Reyes, 33, of Glastonbury, is accused of stabbing "a female acquaintance" with a "small knife" in the chest and shoulder, according to a report.

  • Carrying a dangerous weapon
  • Second-degree breach of peace

Reyes was held overnight on a $500,000 bond and was to be presented in Manchester Superior Court on Tuesday.
