State Routes In Glastonbury Part Of DOT 'Marking' Project
A Connecticut Department of Transportation pavement marking project is set to commence on Sunday on state routes in Greater Hartford.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A Connecticut Department of Transportation pavement marking project is set to commence on Sunday on state routes in the Greater Hartford area and roads in Glastonbury are included.
The project consists of pavement marking grooves and epoxy pavement marking applications on center lines, shoulder lines and "handwork," DOT officials said.
The project is slated to run through Nov. 8.

The work is being conducted by Safety Markings Inc.
No work will be performed the day before or day after all state recognized holidays, DOT officials said.

Traffic control personnel, sign patterns, cones and truck mounted attenuators will guide motorists through work zones, DOT officials said.
The work schedule is from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday through Friday on secondary routes and from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on expressways, DOT officials said.
The work in Glastonbury includes:
- Route 94: From the Route 2 interchange to the Hebron line
- Route 2: From Exit 5D to the Nipsic overpass
