Strong Odor Sends Glastonbury Students to the Hospital

The odor was detected on Thursday at the school.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A mysterious gaseous odor made 10 students sick at Eastbury Elementary School on Thursday, school officials said.

According to an NBC Connecticut report, the school has been evacuated.

An alarm alerted emergency management officials at about 10:30 a.m.

The children were taken to an area hospital, according to the report.

WFSB said the count could be as high as 12.
