'Stuff A Bus' Event Scheduled To Benefit Glastonbury Food Bank

Whole Foods is providing the parking lot.

GLASTONBURY, CT - It's a lesson in which addition can help subtraction at the Glastonbury Food Bank.

Bus and van drivers from the Glastonbury public school system are teaming up with the local Whole Foods Market to host the 2016 "Stuff a Bus" event on Saturday, May 14.

Whole Foods is located at 55 Welles St. The idea is to collect non-perishable food items to stuff the bus parked at the market.

Donations are always appreciated and accepted at the Glastonbury Food Bank, located at the Riverfront Community Center at 300 Welles St. Business hours are:

  • Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
