Suspect Charged In Glastonbury Flare Gun Bank Robbery
A man charged in a Glastonbury bank robbery involving a flare gun was to appear in court Wednesday, police said.
GLASTONBURY, CT — A man charged in a Glastonbury bank robbery involving a flare gun was to appear in court Wednesday, police said.
On New Year's Eve, Glastonbury Police arrested Jose Rodriguez, 46 of Storrs, for robbing a local United Bank branch three days earlier.
He was charged with first-degree robbery, sixth-degree larceny, first-degree threatening and Carrying a Dangerous Weapon.

He was being held on a $150,000 bond, police said.
Police said he held up the bank with a flare gun after approaching a teller. He fled the scene and a police dog unit was unable to locate him.
