GLASTONBURY, CT — A suspect in a Maryland attempted murder investigation was located in Glastonbury, police said.

On Tuesday, Glastonbury police, along with the Capital Region Emergency Services Team, served a search warrant on a residence at 59 Harris St. related to a "violent crime" being investigated by the Baltimore County Police Department in Maryland.

During the execution of the search warrant, an occupant of the house, 32-year-old Dwayne Pridgen Jr. was arrested for being a fugitive from justice, according to an arrest report.

Pridgen was wanted by the Baltimore County Police Department for first-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, home invasion, the use of a firearm, and theft-related charges, according to the report.

Pridgen was arraigned at Manchester Superior Court on the fugitive from justice charge and was still in custody Thursday on a $2.5 million bond, judicial system records show.
