Teen On Bike Collides With Vehicle At Glastonbury High School
A teen on a bike was hurt after colliding with a vehicle at Glastonbury High School Thursday.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A teen on a bicycle collided with a vehicle Thursday afternoon near Glastonbury High School.
Police said the cyclist was a 17-year-old boy. The crash occurred on Hubbard Street near Driveway D at GHS, police said.
The boy was cared for at the scene and then transported to an area hospital, authorities said.

The incident caused delays with pickups and bus dismissals, authorities said.
GHS Principal Nancy Bean said in a message to the school community, "The safety of your children is our number one priority. We understand these events can be unsettling. It does serve as a reminder of the importance of reviewing road safety with your children, whether they are walking, biking, or driving."
