GLASTONBURY, CT — The cameras on a Tesla wound up leading Glastonbury police to issue a summons to a 53-year-old driver for evading the scene of a crash, records show.

The crash took place earlier this month in the parking lot of the Salyulita restaurant in South Glastonbury. The driver backed her car into a Tesla and then left the scene, police said.

Footage from the Tesla's camera led officers to eventually identifying the offending vehicle and it was tracked down, police said.
