Bring your pup out to this fun dog swim! 2 swim waves will be held: 4:30-5:30 p.m. and 5:45-6:45 p.m. Cost is $10/Dog (per Wave). Dogs must be licensed and up to date on all shots. No aggressive dogs, please. Dogs must remain off-leash in the swim area and humans are not allowed in the pool. Please bring your own tennis ball. Pre-registration required online:

Riverfront Music Series is Back with a Concert on September 8th feature eta Music
Join us on September 8th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the lawn area behind the Riverfront Community Center, adjacent to Riverfront Park.
Co-sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department and the CT River Valley Chamber of Commerce this event promises to be a great ending of the summer season. Food trucks and Farmers market will also be on site. Free shuttle parking available at the parking lot at 180/200 Glastonbury Blvd. beginning at 4:30 p.m.
FREE Movie Nights
Bring your lawn chair or blanket and a picnic dinner and enjoy a free movie on the lawn behind the Riverfront Community Center. Reservations not required.

Passport to Health Fair
Join us for the Passport to Health Fair at the Riverfront Community Center on Wednesday, September 22nd! Times are 2:00-4:00 p.m. or 5:00-7:00 p.m. The event will feature vendors, health & wellness demonstrations, presentations a raffle and fun for the whole family!
The event will also feature the “Hidden in Plain Sight” educational experience that walks you through a typical teenage bedroom. The inside of the bedroom is set up with drug paraphernalia “Hidden in Plain Sight.” This is an interactive display/program that offers adults insights into current trends in youth substance abuse, drug paraphernalia, concealment of illicit drugs & alcohol. Volunteers educate community members about drug trends, paraphernalia, how to talk to youth about alcohol & drugs, and what to do if a problem is suspected.

Town and Community Tag Sale
The Glastonbury Town Wide Tag Sale will be held on Saturday, September 25th (Raindate: Sunday, September 26th) from 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. behind the Academy Building in Glastonbury, CT. The Town Wide Tag Sale gives buyers the opportunity to go to one place and spend the day visiting multiple tag sales! For sellers, it's a way to have a concentration of sales at one convenient destination, especially if having a tag sale at your home is not feasible.

Affordable Housing Survey
The Town of Glastonbury is in the process of preparing an Affordable Housing Plan by June 2022 as required by State law. An Affordable Housing Steering Committee has been analyzing and evaluating current and anticipated future housing needs in Glastonbury and will be recommending policies and action steps to other Town boards and agencies.
Community input is an important part of the overall process of preparing the Affordable Housing Plan. As such, the Town's Affordable Housing Steering Committee is asking the public to complete a survey to help the Town of Glastonbury understand shared goals and shared concerns and plan for the future of the community.
The survey will be open for the next four weeks, closing on Sunday, September 26th. To complete the survey, please visit:
