Trio Busted for Glastonbury Cell Phone Theft
The trio is accused of demanding payment for the return of the purloined phone.

A trio of East Hartford men are facing larceny charges in connection with the theft of a cell phone and a demand that the phone owner pay the trio for the return of the purloined phone.
According to Glastonbury Police, the men were arrested in connection with the incident about 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 4 at the Home Depot on 115 Putnam Blvd.
Charges of fifth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny were lodged against Hasbleydy Tejada, 22; Jimmy Tejada-Vega, 18, and Brian Rivera, 22, according to a police report.

They were released on promises to appear Oct. 21 in state Superior Court in Manchester.
