Utility Pole Catches Fire In Glastonbury

Firefighters in Glastonbury had to contend with a burning utility pole on Monday.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A utility pole caught fire in Glastonbury on Monday.

The fire broke out at about 1 p.m. at the intersection of Addison Road and April Drive, fire officials said.

Power was out in the area and the intersection was closed while repairs were made, according to a fire officials.
