Vehicles Stolen from Homes in Glastonbury
Glastonbury police are investigating the theft of four motor vehicles.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Glastonbury police are investigating the theft of four motor vehicles that took place overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday. Police said they are also looking into several thefts from other vehicles.
The crimes took place overnight hours between Tuesday and Wednesday in the Russett Road, Applewood Lane, Cortland Lane, Homestead Lane, Paddock Lane and Pine Tree Lane neighborhoods, police said.
These thefts "follow a pattern of a trend all across Connecticut over the past few years" of roaming thieves looking for unlocked vehicles in residential driveways when it's dark out.

"We would like to advise the public to keep their vehicles locked when parked in their driveways overnight to prevent themselves from becoming victims," police said. "Anyone who spots suspicious activity in their neighborhoods, especially late at night or early in the morning hours are asked to call Glastonbury Police immediately so we may respond to investigate."
Police are asking that residents of the neighborhoods mentioned who have surveillance cameras check their footage for Tuesday and Wednesday and report anything suspicious to Glastonbury Police at 860-633-8301.
