Warren E. Bantle, 80; Retired Inspector; Member of Glastonbury Volunteer Fire Department and Fire Police

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 19 with the funeral service scheduled for Monday, July 20.

Warren E. Bantle, 80, of Glastonbury, beloved husband of Charlotte (Somers) Bantle, died Thursday July 16, 2015 at Hartford Hospital.

Born June 27, 1935 in Glastonbury, son of the late Ernest and Caroline (Moore) Bantle, he was a lifelong resident.

Prior to his retirement in 1998 he worked for the MDC for 43 years retiring as an Inspector. Warren was a life member of the Glastonbury Volunteer Fire Department Company #1 and was with the Fire Police at Company #4.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons and their wives, Michael W. and Christine Bantle of Amston, Jeffrey T. and Gail Bantle of Glastonbury and two grandchildren, Christopher Bantle of Kensington and Abigail Bantle of Amston.

Funeral service will be Monday July 20 at 2:00pm in St. James Episcopal Church, 2584 Main St., Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Green Cemetery, Glastonbury. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Sunday July 19, from 2-5pm.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to Naubuc Volunteer Fire Dept., P.O. Box 632, Glastonbury, CT. or to the Buckingham Volunteer Fire Dept., c/o Michael Kravontka, 21 Hope Lane, Glastonbury, CT. 06033.
