Wayward Turtle Shows Up At Dunkin' Drive-Up Window in Glastonbury

A turtle wandered its way into a Dunkin' Donuts drive-through window over the weekend in Glastonbury.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A turtle wandered its way into a Dunkin' Donuts drive-through window over the weekend in Glastonbury and seemed a little cranky when he couldn't get any coffee, police said.

The call came in Saturday afternoon, according to a police.

According to a report, the "very large" snapping turtle waddled right up to the drive-thru window at the Dunkin' on Main Street.

Offers were called and "gently relocated him back to his natural environment," according to a report.

The turtle apparently wasn’t too happy about the move, and tried to "assault" one of the officers, but no charges were filed, according to a report.
