West Hartford Woman, 32, Accused Of Stalking Teen From Glastonbury She Met In Theater Group: Warrant

GLASTONBURY, CT — A 32-year-old woman from West Hartford is facing a trio of charges out of Glastonbury amid accusations she stalked a minor.

She met the 17-year-old at an out-of-town community theater group, according to a warrant.

The arrestee, identified as Sara Ballard, sent inappropriate images and text messages to the teen, according to a warrant. She also continued to appear at locations where the teen was present after the teen attempted to discontinue contact with Ballard, according to a warrant.

Ballard has been charged with harmful communication with a minor, second-degree harassment and third-degree stalking. She posted a $50,000 bond and has an Oct. 5 court date in Manchester, records show.

Ballard was also arrested by the GPD twice in June for protective order violations, police and judicial system records show.
