Wintry Mix Could Make the Afternoon Slippery in Glastonbury
Check pout the latest winter weather forecast.

Some very light snow and sleet, possibly mixed with rain, will be falling likely during the evening commute home from work tonight. In no way is this a big deal as no real accumulation is forecast, but because of how cold it’s been any precipitation that falls could cause some slippery conditions in some spots.
And the good news is that after tonight, we see a significant warm up with temps into the mid 40s and 50s on Wednesday and Thursday before a quick return to reality with cold air moving back in late Friday.
There is also still a chance for some snow this weekend, with snow possible Saturday afternoon and evening.

But right now, the odd are less than 50 percent, but we know how things change with the weather.
WTNH News 8 Meteorologist Gil Simmons wrote, “One more cold day today before the 50s show up tomorrow. Be careful this afternoon there could be a little bit of patchy ice with any drizzle or rain showers because the ground is cold. Enjoy the warm up and I thought tomorrow and Thursday colder air comes back Friday afternoon.”
NBC Connecticut Meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan wrote, “Light wintry mix tomorrow afternoon. Little if any accumulation expected though there could be slick spots.”
