41st Annual Granby Road Race Traffic Information

Motorists should expect delays and periodic lane closures on Route 10 between the High School/Middle School complex and Canton Road.

The 41st annual Granby Road Race is scheduled for Saturday, May 5. The race will start at 8:30 a.m. and is expected to impact traffic for about three hours.

A portion of the course is within the , the start/finish point is on Salmon Brook Street (Rt.10) near the Granby High School. In addition to utilizing the utmost caution, motorists should expect delays and periodic lane closures on Rt. 10 between the complex and Canton Road.  This area includes the intersections of Rt.10/Rt.20 (Salmon Brook Street/East Granby Road) and Rt.10/Rt.189 (Salmon Brook Street/Hartford Avenue).

Barndoor Hills Road is a viable alternate route to avoid Rt. 10 during the event. For details on the traffice advisory visit http://www.granby-ct.gov
