East Granby's Revolutionary Role

EAST GRANBY, CT — A summer program in East Granby will look back at Connecticut’s place in the American Revolution.

The East Granby Public Library will host “The History of Connecticut During Revolutionary Times” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, at the library.

The presentation will be led by East Granby Public Library historian Dan MacNeil, according to an event announcement from the library.

The program comes as communities across Connecticut prepare for America 250 commemorations this summer and beyond, marking 250 years since the nation’s founding.

The presentation will explore Connecticut’s role in the American Revolution, including the people, places and events that helped shape the country.

Library officials said the program is open to history enthusiasts and residents interested in learning more about the state’s past.
