Fire At Gun Club In East Granby

EAST GRANBY, CT — A pickup truck used by a Windsor company caught fire Thursday morning at the Hartford Gun Club, according to East Granby fire officials.

The fire was reported at about 7:35 a.m. at the club, 157 South Main St.

East Granby firefighters extinguished the blaze, which involved a pickup truck used by The Butler Co. of Windsor. No injuries were reported.

The cause remains under investigation by the East Granby Fire Marshal’s Office.

In a social media post, the Hartford Gun Club said the vehicle caught fire in its “outfield” and that the vehicle and contaminated soil would be removed.
