GRANBY, CT — A motorcyclist was seriously injured Sunday evening in a crash with a vehicle on Route 189 in Granby, police said.
The crash happened near Peck Orchard Road and closed Granville Road in both directions between Northwoods Road and Silver Street while authorities investigated.
No identities, updated conditions or cause of the crash had been released Monday.
CT Insider reported, citing Granby police, that the crash was a head-on collision reported at about 5:55 p.m. and that one person was taken to a hospital. WFSB reported the motorcyclist had serious injuries; the station said an area resident reported the rider was transported by LifeStar.
Route 189 had reopened by Monday morning.
