GRANBY-EAST GRANBY, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Stonehill College, Easton MA

• Three local students have been named to the spring 2018 Dean's List at Stonehill College: Benjamin Moskey and Alexander Smoolca of Granby, and Genna Hartman of East Granby. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.

University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI

• At the University of Rhode Island's 132nd Commencement on Saturday and Sunday, May 19-20, 2018, about 3,300 undergraduate and 750 graduate students became the University's newest alumni. Three local graduates were: Kaitlyn R. Moskey of Granby, Bachelor of Science, Kinesiology Cum Laude; Sarah M. Pizzanello of Granby, Bachelor of Science, Textiles, Fashion Merchandising and Design Cum Laude; and Kane Vincent Russell of East Granby, Bachelor of Science, Psychology Magna Cum Laude.
