Back To School: East Granby 2021-22 School Calendar

EAST GRANBY, CT — Back-to-school planning has already begun with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the Scottsdale Unified School District.

The first day of school for most students in East Granby is Aug. 25.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in East Granby.

Like last year, these policies could change any time before the first day.

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

East Granby Public Schools

First Day: Aug. 25

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 25-26

Winter Break: Dec. 24-31

Spring Break: April 11-15

Last Day: June 6

The official calendar is available through East Granby Public Schools' website.

The CDC has recommended that all students and staff in K-12 schools wear masks this fall due to the highly infectious Delta variant of the coronavirus. Gov. Ned Lamont has not made a ruling on mask wearing for the state's students, but is reportedly likely to follow the federal agency's guidance.
