Carolyn Weston, Director of the Boston Flower & Garden Show, has announced "Romance in the Garden" as the theme for the 2014 show at The Seaport World Trade Center, Boston.   "I’ve asked exhibitors to concentrate on creating Romantic Garden Oases, Scenes of Romantic Garden Entertaining, and Gardens Inspired by Romantic Literature, Movies and Locales (Past & Present). Keeping it kind of broad, as there are so many charming expressions of ‘romance’ from which to choose!"

The show will feature 25 show gardens, 240 vendors selling plants and garden-related merchandise, free lectures and demonstrations for gardeners at all level of expertise. A lively amateur competition area produced by the Massachusetts Horticultural Society and the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts as well as the Professional Florists' Invitational will feature hundreds of plantings and arrangements by the region's top amateur and professional florists and designers.

The show’s location is in Boston’s Seaport District. Other nearby attractions are: Boston’s North End, Faneuil Hall Marketplace, The John F. Kennedy Library, and the new Institute of Contemporary Art. You may also wish to take a lunch cruise on the Spirit of Boston or the Odyssey. After the Flower Shower, enjoy some free time in exploring Quincy Market or other neighborhoods on your own.

Those who wish to skip the Flower Show will disembark the motorcoach at Quincy Market in the morning and be picked up again at 6:00PM for the trip home.  Flower Show -  $55pp; On your Own - $39pp.
