GRANBY-EAST GRANBY, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Becker College, Worcester MA

• A pair of local students have been named to Becker College's Dean's List for the spring 2018 semester. Griffin Barrows of Granby is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interactive Media Design, with a Computer Game Design Concentration; Jared Maslowski of East Granby is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interactive Media Design, with a Computer Game Design Concentration. The Dean's List recognizes all full-time students (24 or more credit hours earned for the academic year; 12 minimum each semester - September through May) whose term grade point average is 3.50 or higher with no grade below a B- and no incomplete (I) or withdrawal/failing (WF) grades.

University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI

• The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce the spring 2018 Dean's List. To be included on the Dean's List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 or more credits for letter grades earning at least a 3.30 quality point average. Students honored from Granby are Jessica M. Askew, Laurelyn Rose Keenan, Andrew Philip Main, Kaitlyn R. Moskey and Sarah M. Pizzanello, as well as Kane Vincent Russell of East Granby.
