On Campus - Granby, East Granby College Students

GRANBY-EAST GRANBY, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY

• Davis Lapointe of Granby graduated from RIT with a BS in management information systems. RIT conferred 4,747 degrees this academic year at all its campuses-including in Croatia, Dubai, Kosovo and China. The university held its 133rd annual commencement celebration in May.
• Ben Hebert of Granby, who is in the mechanical engineering program, made the Dean's List for the spring semester at Rochester Institute of Technology. Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa AL

• Samantha R. Hampson of Granby was named to The University of Alabama Dean's List for spring 2018. A total of 11,347 students enrolled during the 2018 spring semester at UA were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students.
