Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

• A pair of students from Granby and one from East Granby have been named to the fall 2017 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester. Local honorees are John Flanagan of East Granby, Amy Lenihan of Granby and Haley Rome of Granby.

University of Vermont, Burlington VT

• Molly Freedman has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2017 semester at the University of Vermont. Freedman, from Granby, is majoring in Environmental Studies in the College of Arts & Sciences. To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.
